Stepping up for Chow Down’s fourth release is decorated resident and all-round don Grizzle. Taking all of the limelight, the London-based producer plates up four solo tracks destined for the dancefloor.

Quinine showcases the producer’s ability to fuse the full breadth of his influences – from the syrupy R'n'G of golden-age Boxed through to the urgent, 808-toting melodics of Young Thug and UK Drill – into an unmistakable sound. Record opener Plasma lures the listener in – layering otherworldly synths with addictive vocal chops before breaking out into a club heater. Next up, Loosed blends radiant mallets, cutting snares and wonky leads into a whirlwind of flavour. Dropping the tempo while still maintaining all the colour and energy, title track Quinine bursts through with militant 808s & a vocal hook like no other. Closing out the EP is Gauntlet, a full-throttle coup de grace as euphoric as it is hysterical.

Expect a heap of chords, wicked riffs, angelic vocals and breakdowns from the heart. Let’s, and we don’t say this lightly, Go.
